Studio Guidelines: Dress & Hygiene
At CB Power Yoga, we’re committed to creating a comfortable, welcoming space for everyone. Because we practice in close quarters and breathe deeply together, personal hygiene and appropriate attire are an important part of the shared experience.
Respecting the space - and one another
At CB Power Yoga, our community includes students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels, and we practice in close quarters where breath, movement, and energy are shared. What each of us brings into the room—how we show up, how we prepare, and how we care for ourselves—directly impacts the experience of those around us.
These guidelines are in place to support a respectful, inclusive environment where everyone can feel at ease in their practice.
Hygiene
Please arrive to class clean and in freshly laundered clothing.
Be mindful of body odor—this is a shared space, and strong odors can be distracting to others
Avoid strong scents including perfumes, essential oils, cigarette smoke, or cannabis
If you’ve recently smoked, please take time to air out and freshen up before class
For your convenience, we provide Native spray deodorant in our bathrooms—please feel free to use it before class.
Clothing
Wear clothing that allows you to move freely and provides appropriate coverage in all postures.
Shorts should provide appropriate coverage in all postures (recommended minimum 5” inseam)
Traditional swimwear, including speedos, is not permitted
Men are welcome to practice shirtless
Sports bras are welcome
Our goal is to maintain an environment that feels comfortable and respectful for all students.
Shared Space
